Q: What are you trying to do with this website?
A: I am trying to bring the internet something new and unique. To my knowledge, nothing like this has ever been done before, and I thought it seemed like a fun way to explore the Internet’s capabilities.

Q: Alright, what’s the deal exactly?
A: Think of this site as a virtual billboard that rotates on a daily basis, where visitors can always look back and see what was on the billboard in past days. The premise is that the front page area of my website serves as space that can be “purchased” - or, rented - on a daily basis by anyone (hence, purchasing a day). By purchasing a day, you will own a piece of a novel and interesting Internet idea!

Certainly the main benefit is owning the primary space on the main page for your day, but you will also get the benefit of an archive page remaining in the daily index for as long as the site stays running.  Any visitor can browse through and click on your “day” at any time.  This means there’s potential for hundreds of thousands of people to see your link and daily page over time, even after your day has passed.

Q: Why would I want to buy a “day” from you?
A: Good Question! Hopefully you will want to buy a day (or even two) from me because this is a new and exciting idea. Maybe you or your company wants to buy a day to advertise a product. Maybe a webmaster wants to put up an advertisement driving traffic to his website. Maybe you want to buy a day because you’re going to propose to your long time girlfriend. Wedding anniversaries, memorials, birthdays, anything goes. You can do whatever you want with your day. Then, on your day, the main front page will be configured to display your content and only your content.

Q: That definitely seems interesting, what can I do to get started?
A: You’re already on the right track! Visit the site index, look for any available days that haven’t been purchased by somebody yet, and buy them! After the purchase is made, just email me your main image file or content with hyperlink info - then wait for your day to come… Meanwhile you’ll show up in the index as a site purchaser and your link will be accessible to visitors.

Q: Why are you doing this? Are you one of those a greedy, get-rich-quick buttheads?
A: I’m doing this for a couple reasons. First and foremost, I’m trying to find a unique and clever way to develop a website that captures the interest of the internet community, and this feels like it has potential!

Secondly, no I am not a “get-rich-quick” butthead. If this site does happen to take off and hit the big time, I would like to pay off my house, put my wife through to her master’s (something she’s always wanted), and help my parents get set up for retirement. Even if all the days happen to get bought up, it definitely wont put me anywhere near being a millionaire or anything like that. But it WILL help me do a few very nice things for a few very nice people.

A: Visit the buy section for more details and conditions, and then visit the site index to pick out your day(s). You can pick as many as you want, in any order you want, just as long as their not already purchased. 1 day costs $100 (U.S. dollars) flat fee. So you could have your content displayed on my main page for an entire week by spending $700. Once you have your day(s) picked out, just email me your image and hyper link information, along with which day(s) you would like - and the necessary content will be added once payment is received.
